I would be lying if I said ever since I was little I've had a dream about being in the beauty industry. Truth is, I've been a tomboy all my life. I had no interest in doing my makeup, or my hair for that matter. My Grandmother and Mother are both hair stylists. It never crossed my mind then that I would be apart of their legacy. However, I always loved playing with friends hair, or curling my girl's hair for the school dances and these days I definitely believe in seeing the signs. As I got older (and closer to having to come up with the 'what do you want to do when you grow up?' answer ) I couldn't find anything that stuck with me, nothing I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Somehow cosmetology kept bouncing around in my head, and five years later I've never been happier with my career choice. I realize that I'm right where i need to be. I love anything and everything that has to do with the beauty industry now. Which oddly enough doesn't surprise me anymore. Its in my blood.
